Knit in the round, in the magic loop method
CO 12 STS, PM, split 6 STS on each needle, join in the round.
Round 1: *K*
Round 2: *K1, INC1, K4, INC1, K1* (increase 4 STS) 12+4=16
Round 3: *K1, INC1, K6, INC1, K1* (increase 4 STS) 16+4=20
Round 4: *K1, INC1, K8, INC1, K1* (increase 4 STS) 20+4=24
At this point you should have 12 STS on each needle.
If you want, flip it inside out and seam up the toe. It’s easier to do now, rather than wait until you’re finished.
Rounds 5+: Knit all stitches, until it measures 18″ (45cm) or desired length.
Weave in the ends.
Block, if desired.
Knit the second the same as the first.

Liner:
Using the fabric of your choice, cut 2 pieces 11″ wide x 21″ long (28cm x 53cm).
Fold in half, width-wise. Sew the long side and 1 short side of both pieces.
Insert the liner inside the knitted sock, fold the top over and then stitch around the top to attach.
