Notes

Not reversible.
Knit from cuff to fingertip.
Knit using the stockinette stitch.
Knit in the round using the magic loop method.
When knitting in the round you’re always knitting the right side of your work.

Knitting Abbreviations

*– * – repeat between * to end of round
BO – bind-off in pattern
CO – cast-on (long-tail cast-on method)
INC1 – make 1 stitch (I used a backwards loop)
K – knit stitches (K1 means to knit 1 stitch)
P – purl stitches (P2 means to purl 2 stitches)
PM – place stitch marker
SM – slip stitch marker
STS – stitches

Pattern Instructions

CO 14, split 7 STS per needle, PM, join in the round.

Rounds 1-8: *K*

Note: There are a total of 3 stitch markers. 1 to mark the beginning of the round and the other 2 mark the thumb gusset.

Thumb Gusset:

Round 9: SM, K1, PM, INC1, PM, K13 (1 thumb ST)

Round 10: *K*

Round 11: SM, K1, SM, INC1, K1, INC1, SM, K13  (3 thumb STS)

Round 12: *K*

Round 13: SM, K1, SM, INC1, K3, INC1, SM, K13  (5 thumb STS)

Round 14: *K* 

Round 15: SM, K1, SM, INC1, K5, INC1, SM, K13  (7 thumb STS) 

Round 16: *K* 

Round 17: BO the 7 thumb gusset STS (make sure you only have the original 14 STS remaining)

Fingers:

Rounds 18-22: *K* 

Round 23: BO loosely in pattern 

Weave in the ends. Block, if desired.

Knit the second the same as the first.
