Yarn & Substitutions

Yarn Weight: Super Bulky Yarn
Yardage: 550 – 560 yards (503 – 512 meters)
Suggested Yarn: MillaMia Naturally Soft Super Chunky Merino Wool

I searched hi & low for the perfect yarn for my classic seed stitch blanket. It’s a simple blanket with a rustic finish, but it makes such a statement. This merino wool is silky smooth & buttery soft, absolutely perfect. It’s like snuggling up in a cloud.

Keep in mind that it’s 100% wool, so it naturally felts over time, so you’ll want to shave it once in a while. In a perfect world, I like to shave it before I store it for the summer, but if I’m being honest, I usually shave it when I pull it out at the first sign of fall (I use this shaver).
