Beginner Blanket Knitting Pattern

This beginner blanket knitting pattern was designed using my favorite combination of knit & purl stitches. It’s a classic stitch that stands the test of time. The Moss Knit Stitch. It’s a simple four row repeat that’s easy to memorize.

I ended my queen sized blanket when it was 68″ long. It hangs off a little on the end and I tuck it under my pillows. If you’d like it to fit over your pillows, you’ll want to make it longer.
