Row 1: *K3, K2TOG, YO, K1*
Row 2: *P2, YO, P2TOG, P2*
Row 3: *K1, K2TOG, YO, K3*
Row 4: *P4, YO, P2TOG*
Row 5: *K1, YO, SSK, K3*
Row 6: *P2, SSP TBL, YO, P2*
Row 7: *K3, YO, SSK, K1*
Row 8: *SSP TBL, YO, P4*
Repeat rows 1-8, until desired length
Abbreviations:
*– * – repeat between the asterisks
CO – cast-on (long-tail cast-on method)
K – knit stitches (example: K1 means to knit 1 stitch)
K2TOG – knit 2 stitches together
P – purl stitches (example: P2 means to purl 2 stitches)
P2TOG – purl 2 stitches together
SSK – slip, slip, knit
SSP TBL – Slip 2 stitches knit-wise to the right needle, put them back on the left needle and then purl them together through the back loop.

YO – yarn over

- Row 5: *K1, YO, SSK, K3*
- Row 6: *P2, SSP TBL, YO, P2*
- Row 7: *K3, YO, SSK, K1*
- Row 8: *SSP TBL, YO, P4*
