Size US 11 {8mm} needles
About 35-45 yards of a super bulky yarn
{I used Cascade Lana Grande Yarn.}

Pattern {Swatch with Border}:

CO 15 STS

Row 0: K2 *P* K2 {wrong side}
Row 1: K2, K3 *P1, K3* K2
Row 2: K2 *P* K2
Row 3: K2 *K3, P1* K5
Row 4: K2 *P* K2

Repeat rows 1 – 4 until desired length

Pattern {Swatch without Border}:

CO in multiples of 4 +3 {examples: 19, 35, 51}

Row 0: *P* {wrong side}
Row 1: K1 *P1, K3* P1, K1
Row 2: *P*
Row 3: *K3, P1* K3
Row 4: *P*

Repeat rows 1 – 4 until desired length

Abbreviations:

CO – cast-on {long-tail cast-on method}*
