Shrug Pattern Instructions
Pattern, Knit Flat:
Rib Stitch Collar Top, about 1 1/2” (4cm):
Row 1: *K1, P1* K1
Row 2: *P1, K1* P1
Repeat rows 1-2, 2 more times
Row 7: *K1, P1* K1 (repeat row 1)
Garter Stitch Body:
Row 8 *K*
Repeat row 8, for 31″ (78cm), or until desired length.
Rib Stitch Collar Bottom, about 1 1/2” (4cm):
Row 1: *K1, P1* K1
Row 2: *P1, K1* P1
Repeat rows 1-2, 2 more times
Row 7: BO in all knit stitches.
How to Create the Sleeves:
For the first sleeve, lay it flat, with the wrong side up.
On a short side, bring the CO and BO corners together.
Sew from the edge in, to create the sleeves.
How far up you sew depends on the size you’re making. I sewed mine about 6” (15cm).
Repeat on the other side to create the other sleeve.
Weave in the ends.
Steam-block lightly to even out the stitches.
